Service Description

In this 1-hour class, Mind Over (Mat)ter, we will practice postures to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. You can expect an emphasis on breathing, simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full body balance is the goal by using standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. "The word Hatha can be broken down broken into ha (“sun”) and tha (“moon”). Therefore, Hatha is aimed towards bringing balance between the sun and the moon within you- your light and your darkness." Classes recommended for any level student; beginners welcomed!
